Dakasha Karia is a cheery, kind, and understanding Indian woman and is Mr. Cashmore's housekeeper. She also lives at the Lock Cottage with her son Ravi and father Bapu. Her voice is provided by Barbara Flynn, who voices all the other female characters.

- For unknown reasons, her husband is never seen nor even mentioned in the show.
- Her name, Dakasha, is often misheard as Daksa, as her name is only said twice in the entire series. Other than that, she is referred to as Mrs. Karia or Mrs. K.
